Fic: ‘Strayed into a dream.’
Title: Strayed into a dream.
Fandom: Lord of the Rings (movies).
Rating: (G)
Time Period: Prior to events in Lord of the Rings.
Summary: When Aragorn met his Tinúviel.

Author's Note: This is quick ‘n’ dirty (for definition see the F. A. Q.).

This is the third, and final, of the trio of stories I began with Lost under the stars. These three stories unfolded in my imagination and they were linked, all three fateful first meetings. I liked the history that these stories straddled and the possibilities each meeting had from their very first moment.

This is the third of a trio of stories; the first two were:
Lost under the stars
A summer dream.

Waning strands of sunlight catch within his dark hair as he sings, the words falling lightly from his lips. He stops, the Ring of his forefathers a sudden weight and the song fades to nothing as he stands.

Wrapped in silver and blue, stars and sky, she walks, unaware of the youth nearby. A wisp of breeze catches her hair; as she turns, it falls away and he can see the starry jewels upon her brow.

He steps toward her, hand outstretched. “Tinúviel,” he calls and she turns, her lips curving sweetly.

Fading, the sunlight quietly withdraws. She steps toward him and his hand falls. Shyly, the first stars peek into the coming twilight, upon this young man and his Tinúviel.
