Fic: ‘Tis the Season: Not quite as expected.
Title: ‘Tis the Season: Not quite as expected.
Fandom: Doctor Who.
Rating: (G)
Time Period: During the 10th Doctor's time.
Summary: A brilliant idea has formed. Now, to pull it off …

Author's Note: This is quick ‘n’ dirty (for definition see the F. A. Q. or check this post for the definition).

This was inspired by the Doctor Who BBC1 Christmas Ident Trailer for 2009. I was highly amused by the trailer.

This is part III of IV for this particular set of stories.

The situation had to be assessed: TARDIS half-buried, no shovel, reindeer nearby and no rope.

His hand slipped into a coat pocket; trifling matters such as wet shoes didn’t matter when there was snow to be moved. His hand withdrew from the pocket. He flipped the screwdriver into the air, caught it easily, pointed it at the snow in front of the door and pressed a button with his thumb.

The end of the screwdriver glowed blue. There was a distinct click.

"It's sonic! Who looks at a screwdriver and says 'this needs to be more sonic?'"

Most original use of the sonic screwdriver ever! At least the snow wasn't double-deadlock sealed!

I don't have 'a big head filled with stuff' to know how.
