Time Period: After Children In Need 2016.

Author's Note: This is quick ‘n’ dirty (for definition see the F. A. Q.).

You knew there was a multi-part story coming! It was inspired by a Children In Need 2016 sketch.

On a corner sits a little teddy bear. Over an eye, around its head is a polka-dotted bandage. His face surrounded by his paws, his brow furrows in thought. There is only one thought he has at the moment and it's all-consuming.

How can he, Pudsey, meet Santa Claus?

He could always go to the shopping centre and see Santa there but, truth be told, that wasn't the real Santa, who would be checking his list (twice!) and the presents for all the girls and boys in the world, making sure they all had one.

No. He, Pudsey, had to find Santa on his own. The North Pole was far too obvious (besides, he couldn't get there and back by dinner) so he had to think where to look. Which was why he was sitting on a corner with his face in his paws being ever so thoughtful.

He has to find Santa but where?

He pushes himself up and toddles toward home. After all, he has to have a snack before he goes looking for Santa. Maybe the snack will help him think of where Santa could be.

He's so cuuuuute!

... I'd point out the reason things are obvious is usually because they're true, but hey, the point about being back by dinner is a good one.

Well, Pudsey is a small bear and dinner is important!
