“An envelope. A plain, white envelope.”

“It's a present. Open it.”

“A'right! A'right!” A slight pause. “You don't like my cooking?”

“It's constantly barbecue!”

“You realise the barbecue’s only fired up when I invite everyone over, right?”

“You cook everything on it.”

“Only if I have to. Thanksgiving wasn't on the barbecue.”

“The only meal that wasn't.”

“I know how to cook.” A thoughtful pause. “Isn't Eric still living with you?”

“Steve, no.”

“I only asked.”

“I know you Steve. No.”

“Thanks for the gift. It was really thoughtful.”
