Update: Tags, oh my ...
In my last update, I stated I was still alive and was working on a ‘fic.

Firstly, I’m still alive. Yay!

Secondly, I’m no longer working on the ‘fic mentioned in the update. I was continually interrupted during the writing and I came to realise I wasn’t at all happy with its progress. The rhythm and the internal flow of the story kept jumping around, it contradicted itself, the characters didn’t seem right and I wasn’t able to devote the time to it that it deserved. So, I’ve set it aside. I don’t know if I’ll return to it or scrap it completely. I do know, though, that it was a mistake to write it when still in my current circumstances.

What was it about?

It was an alternate universe (AU) Star Wars; Obidala. It was completely different from stories I’ve written previously for that fandom and pairing, both in nature and length. I apologise for anyone being excited over the prospect of it but, as mentioned, it’s been set aside and may be revisited in the future.

Thirdly, I’ve updated the tags for the journal. I was looking at them and they seemed really higgledy-piggledy. I decided to organise ‘em so I knew what they were about!

There’re now categories: admin, character, fiction, film/film(s), pairing, trilogy and TV. I think these’re self-explanatory. Just in case:
admin - anything from me: updates, rules, FAQ etc.

character - if a ‘fic’s specific to a character, these will be used; full names for the characters will be used and it’s also to help indicate what PoV is being used.

fiction - I wasn’t certain what category some tags should be tossed under so this was used.

Film/Film(s); TV - this is basically to let anyone know which source material’s a movie or TV show.

Pairing - this doesn’t necessarily mean romantic pairing! Generally, in a fanfiction, I’m writing about two characters; this is more to let me what pairs of characters the story was about or used.

Trilogy - it’s being used for a trilogy. ‘Nuff said.

And that’s it! I hope there’s no confusion but if there is, just check the tags page and it should explain itself.
